I get a lot of e-mails asking why I don't post recipes or have pictures of the food I make. The biggest issue here is that I absolutely have no skills whatsoever when it comes to taking pictures. I mean - it's bad. My sister's dog once stepped on her camera and the camera fired. The resulting picture was better than anything I have ever taken on purpose, and me with the fancy opposable thumbs.
And as far as the recipe thing goes - I am a bit at a disadvantage in that department. It's not that my preparations are a secret - it's just that they are hard to describe in print. I don't cook with measuring tools other than my hands, my eyes, and how much of it fits in a martini glass. So it's going to be up to all of you to decipher what I mean by crushing enough peppercorns to fit in the cute little demitasse cup Crazy Aunt Anita bought me.

No matter what, we'll still keep coming back. How could we not?! ~;^) Posted by: thefoxymama at January 24, 2005 07:37 PM Start with the lemon drops. Definitely start there. Posted by: Damomma at January 24, 2005 08:32 PM I know a great picture to accompany the Lemon Drop recipe...that's if you still have it.... :-) Posted by: TX Friend at January 25, 2005 09:43 AM I'd love to see anything you make. And I agree with the others....start with the lemon drop! And some cheese.. Posted by: sandy at January 25, 2005 02:04 PM We should have a bad photographer contest. I, too, completely lack photography skills... but that doesn't stop me from posting my bad pics on my blog! =) Posted by: Kelli at January 25, 2005 06:07 PM I don't want pictures of food. I want the food to arrive on my doorstep. :-) Posted by: Valerie at January 25, 2005 06:33 PM |
