Man, if I'd known that I could use all pre-made food, I could have gone into the catering biz!

FW,
I'm sorry to hear your tale of woe! :-( May today be a better day for you!

Now...back to my regularly scheduled lurkdom.

My commisserations. Here's hoping that that was all the horrid stuff for the week, or better yet month, and since it has allready happened all at once, the next however long will go much smoother.

Let us know how the bagged mash isn't. I had it once and admittedly it wasn't bad, but then I also wasn't paying a caterer for homemade. And we got it free. I enjoy but don't expect great for free.

And if you get to give her your business card, please please please let us know about her reaction, especially facial expression!

Here's sending you lots of sympathy and a virtual lemon-drop!

I always look at these situations and say...well it can only get better from here.

Have a happy mashed potato weekend.
I'll be making mine from scratch tomorrow...so sorry for you.

My sympathies. I thought my day was bad yesterday. You win!

Ask her if she took catering classes at military school. :)

Wishing you much brighter days. Looks like you won with the clone. The link from your previous post to the copycat is dead. Long live the queen!

You simply MUST tell this woman who you are, at some point...you're the Food Whore for cryin' out loud!!! I am also looking forward to reading about her reaction.

Hmm.....I too can go into the business! Alls I need is a Sams Club membership and a microwave!

Lemon drops, lemons drops, drink them up, yum!

I hope that you get to see the look on her face when she learns you are a fabulous chef and caterer.

When you're at the bagged potato gig, pretend that you're Dan Ackroyd doing Julia Child. And flick a little piece of butter up someone's nostril.

Have fun.
