That is exactly why we DO NOT go out for dinner on Valentine's day. Last night we had a lovely roast chicken for dinner with roast potaoes, gravy, green beans and chocolate chip cookies. All from scratch.

We went out to lunch (no reservation) just a few minutes after the place opened and we beat the rush. I work in a restaurant, so I had the night from hell last night. >:(

Heh, my wife went out a few days before and bought herself a box of chocolates and we had that last night. We'll go out this weekend.

I even made reservations for lunch - and the place was packed!
Dinner was fondue at home :-D Romantic dinners out are better on days that aren't Feb 14th
