I am all for romance.
I am all for getting your grove on, but go find your thrill somewhere else. Perhaps Richie Cunningham saved you a spot on Blueberry Hill. Posted by Foodwhore at August 1, 2006 10:58 PM
It's one thing to sit close to each other and discreetly do what you want... Posted by: graydon at August 2, 2006 12:10 AM LOL, Graydon. You should have suggested a nice hotel that has room service. Then they could have taken their love for each others food to the next level. Posted by: Carolline at August 2, 2006 12:16 AM G-R-O-S-S Posted by: sandy at August 2, 2006 05:18 AM Good g-d, how unbelievably tacky and rude! Posted by: Susan at August 2, 2006 07:20 AM Ummm... eeww. Just...ew. Posted by: Melissa at August 2, 2006 08:56 AM I have one comment - "GET A ROOM" Posted by: Valerie at August 2, 2006 09:32 AM I pity the other customers who had to see that! Posted by: Jen at August 2, 2006 10:13 AM I think that some people must be pretty insecure about the stability of their relationship if they feel the need to display it for the entire world to see. I guess they have to make sure everybody knows that they are together. Posted by: Carmen at August 2, 2006 11:15 AM Frankly, if I were another diner and witnessed that kind of display, I'd probably speak with the manager. Food-related fun is all well and good ["Tom Jones," the movie, anyone?] but this kinda display makes everyone else sick. Posted by: Nana at August 2, 2006 12:41 PM We saw a couple like that in my college a couple of years ago. At one point she was sitting on his lap with her legs wrapped round him! It was pretty embarrassing. Then one of my friends took a picture. It made the point and the two lovebirds left pretty much straight away. :D No, we didn't keep the photo. Posted by: Ros at August 3, 2006 08:11 AM Eww, sick. I saw a couple like that once while out with my husband and some friends, they kept following up each bite with a tongue chaser. That evening we were in on the secret that my friend's boyfriend at the time was going to ask my friend to marry him later that night, and we were going to help set up the scene before they got there. We were trying to make the evening as dreamy and romantic as possible, no thanks to the lip-lockers, who insisted on nauseating all of us. Some people! Posted by: Ang at August 3, 2006 08:17 AM Yuck! It's all relative. Spilled peanut sauce and shredded cheese doesn't sound so bad anymore. Posted by: Brini at August 3, 2006 08:24 PM I love your blog and have read all of your archives. I noticed that your birthday was last week and wanted to say Happy Birthday! Posted by: Michelle at August 4, 2006 10:08 AM |
