While taking my final walk-thru The Restaurant last night something caught my eye in one of the planters. It turned out to be crust from the marbled rye we served at lunch time. My best guess is it could have been a child. Or it could have been a teenager, or it could have been the same guy who lodged a toothpick into the cieling of the men's bathroom. Either way, I hate people. Posted by Foodwhore at January 18, 2009 08:46 PM
Must be something in the air because I hate people today too, and I didn't even find a crust in my planter. Oh well, have a lemon drop and celebrate King's Bday. Posted by: Shelley at January 19, 2009 11:52 AM People are a trip. I sometimes can't stand them. Posted by: Jennifer at January 19, 2009 01:00 PM Just when you thought life couldn't possibly get more bizarre, it comes to this: A toothpick in the ceiling of the men's bathroom? I mean . . . *why*? Posted by: Nancy at January 19, 2009 01:13 PM Best/weirdest planter find I've had: about a dozen anchovies. Found by our dog at the outdoor table next to the planter. Whole anchovies, too. Why would you order something so explicitly anchovy-y if you didn't like it? And if you didn't, why would you planter it? I hate people, too. Posted by: rm at January 21, 2009 06:33 PM maybe you should get another gig Posted by: rm at January 23, 2009 06:53 PM |
